Effect of Janus Nanoparticles on Foam Stability

چکیده
Abstract The foam properties of different surfactants were evaluated by the stirring method. synergistic stabilizing effect was formed combination lauryl glucoside and hydrophilic nanoparticles, but result feeble. blend Janus nanoparticles significantly improves stability, two have a strong on stability. compound system has specific temperature resistance. Kruss dynamic surface tensiometer dilatation rheometer used to measure gas-liquid interface system, surfactant respectively. effects tension modulus analyzed, which correlated with stability foam.

15 صفحه اولThe Effect of Xanthan Gum and Temperature on Foam Stability of Milk-Based Espresso Coffees
Milk-based espresso coffee is one of the most popular beverages. Foam is an essential quality characteristic for this beverage. Foam formation and stability is mainly related to the milk composition. In this study the influence of three different concentrations of Xanthan gum (0.05, 0.1 and 0.2 g dm-3) and three different temperatures (50, 60 and 70 °C) on foam stability were examined and exper...

15 صفحه اولMagnetic-mesoporous Janus nanoparticles.
Novel multifunctional magnetic-mesoporous Janus particles with controlled aspect ratio were developed by a simple one-step synthesis approach. Due to their superior magnetic properties and well-defined pore structures, these particles will be important in drug delivery, molecule targeting, cellular imaging, and as building blocks for the assembly of complex nanostructures.
متن کاملControlled assembly of Janus nanoparticles.
Janus nanoparticles were prepared by interfacial ligand exchange reactions of octanethiolate-protected gold (AuC8) nanoparticles with 3-mercapto-1,2-propanediol (MPD) at the air/water interface. AFM and TEM measurements showed that the resulting particles formed stable aggregates in water with dimensions up to a few hundred nanometers, in sharp contrast to the original AuC8 particles and bulk-e...
